Welcome to Version 2024.1 of Axiom Clinical Analytics.

Enhancements in this release include:

New All Procedures Analysis scorecard section

Use the new All Procedures Analysis scorecards section in Scorecards reporting to view all procedures that were performed by an operating physician. The scorecards section includes the following settings:

  • All profiles

  • All profile types (IP, OB, OBS, ED, ASC)

  • Time period (start and end month/year)

  • Number of cases

  • Physician from All Operating Physician fields for all principal and secondary procedures. Allows either individual physician selection or physician group selection:

    • Physician - Displayed only if physician or physician group is selected

    • Physician Group - Displayed only if physician group is selected

  • Procedure

  • Report level - Simple and Detailed, processing International Classification of Diseases (ICD) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes. Patient level data is displayed when Report level is set to Patient.

New All Procedures Analysis scorecard section

Use the new All Procedures Analysis scorecards section in Scorecards reporting to view all procedures that were performed by an operating physician. The scorecards section includes the following columns:

  • Axiom encounter ID (default sort)

  • Account number. Excluded when locked.

  • Medical Record Number (MRN). Excluded when locked.

  • Procedure code

  • Procedure description

  • Operating physician

  • Operating physician ID

  • Procedure date

  • Procedure day of stay

New All Procedures Analysis procedure Excel export

You can download an Excel file that contains the columns and data from the Procedure section to analyze the data offline. Use the new Excel export functionality in the All Procedures Analysis section > Procedure level view.

The Profile tab on the exported file, AllProcedureAnalysis_Prodedure_datestringtime.xlsx, contains the following fields:

  • Profile

  • Period

  • Physician

  • Physician role

  • Physicians group

  • Procedures

  • Report level

Version 41 Fiscal Year 2024 variable updates in scorecards

The following measure and cohort definitions reflect the most current v41 FY24 updates:

  • Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) measures

  • International Classification of Diseases-10-Clinical Modification (ICD-10-CM) definitions

  • International Classification of Diseases-10-Procedure Coding System (ICD-10-PCS) definitions and procedure codes

  • Medicare Severity-Diagnosis Related Group (MS-DRG) definitions

Regulatory content updated to version 41

Regulatory content has been updated to version 41 for:

  • ICD diagnosis tables

  • Medicare Severity-Diagnosis Related Group (MS-DRG) lookup tables

  • Procedure lookup tables

  • Physician attributions (APR-DRG 851)

  • All Patient Refined (APR) lookup tables

  • Record processors for measures
